For the second year in a row, the Calla brand was featured in the media – and, for the first time, we got TV presence! If 2017 wasn’t good enough, 2018 definitely topped it.

More exciting stuff came up in the middle of the year, when Bailey was on regional TV channel That’s Manchester talking about the business, the process of designing shoes for bunions, and the journey that had led her to start a show business in the first place.

Calla is an established brand of stylish shoes for bunions, started after Jennifer’s frustration of not finding a nice pair of shoes adapted to her bunions condition. It offers worldwide delivery, making Calla having clients all over the world, from the UK to the US, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia and even Fiji.

Later on in the year, Top Sante, a leading health magazine, has reviewed the most comfortable women’s trainers and shoes, and Calla’s are featured on their list.

The magazine has chosen our Emma suede black heel courts to go in the ranking, and we couldn’t be more delighted to find Calla to be the only shoes for bunions that have been featured.

Top Sante says the model is very high quality, made with soft suede and sturdy stitching. They also highlight the fact that they don’t look like medical shoes, as the typical shoes for bunions use to do.

Journalist Martha Alexander, from the publication, writes about the elegant and expert design. The shoes are styled especially for bunions sufferers, so the aim of the shoes is for them to comfort and conceal your lumps and bumps.

Additionally, all of Calla’s shoes are handcrafted in Portugal, by skilled shoemakers who simply have the necessary expertise to create shoes that are perfect for bunions.
